Her idea? Host a Limo Wedding Planning Party–A mobile seminar on wheels!
The concept is simple but genius!:
- A limo takes a party of engaged couples (the number is determined by however many the vehicle is licensed to transport) around town to meet and visit a variety of hand-picked wedding vendors.
- Each stop on the tour includes a mini info session or demo at each vendor location. A florist might provide each bride with a small bouquet. A bakery might provide samples or a mini cake for each couple to take home; you get the idea.
For brides this is a fun and exciting way to plan their big day. Who wouldn’t want to be driven around in a limousine and treated like royalty?
For participating wedding professionals/vendors, this is a great marketing opportunity and all of them should donate their services since it is almost guaranteed that the brides will want to do business with them.
And, for you, the clever wedding planner that pulls all of this together, you use this opportunity to promote your services, with an emphasis on your ‘day-of’ wedding package.
Keep in mind that this promotion requires extensive preparation on your part. In order for this event to be a success, you must work with local professional wedding vendors beforehand and create a very detailed timeline because of all the stops that are part of the tour; (a top-notch limo company is integral).

After reading this article I knew that I wanted to incorporate this into my new business. I then went to a bridal show and saw a vendor offering the same service. I still want to do it because I look at it as she can’t handle the whole city and she offers once a quarter where as I have more flexibility in offering my services. Should I keep moving forward.
