March 1 2014 was the first Saturday of the month. That means a live broadcast of Confetti, the wedding planning business talk show [cue Confetti theme song]!
I had tons of fun chatting and meeting with so many of you! We got through lots of great questions, feedback and suggestions (submitted before and during the live broadcast)…all related to building a successful wedding planning business. Now, that’s what I call ‘Wedding Planner Paradise’, right?! 🙂
To ensure that each question was answered, the show ran a little longer than the typical hour. So, I’ve divided the replay into two (2) parts.
Your Wedding Planner Questions, Answered
Here are the great wedding planner questions and topics that you’ll hear during this episode of the Wedding Planning Business TalkShow:
- [00:06:23] Yeri needed clarification about managing her clients’ wedding budget and how that budget relates to her wedding planner fees and her wedding planner contract.
- [00:15:43] Ken is happily married (for 30+ years!!) and is no stranger to organizing major events. As a result, he has launched his own wedding planning company — we definitely need more male wedding planners! Ken asked for help with finding clients and getting traffic for his wedding website.
- [00:31:48] “How often do you meet with a bride during the wedding planning process?” was the question posed in the live chatroom.
- [00:34:17] If you’ve ever had a couple or bride ‘pick your brain’ for ideas and resources for their wedding only to have them take all of your suggestions to plan their own nuptials without hiring you (I know you’ve been there!) , you’ll appreciate Marilisa [Guest922?]’s question about what to say during initial wedding client consultations.
To Be Continued…
This information-packed episode continues on for another 30+ minutes. So, please stay tuned for the second part of our Live Wedding Planner show in an upcoming post.
