‘Wedding Dogs’ – Book Review

When it comes to planning weddings, I’m a firm believer in making sure my clients have the wedding THEY want.

And, let’s face it, for some couples that means including their four-legged family member/BFF.

Well, dog lovers around the world, rejoice!

‘Wedding Dogs: A Celebration of Holy Muttrimony’ by Katie Preston Toepfer and Sam Stall was created with you in mind.

Although the format for this book is more anecdotal than ‘how-to-include-your-dog-in-your-wedding’, and even if dogs as ring-bearers isn’t your thing, this collection of pet-friendly weddings will leave you smiling, not to mention inspired.

Each of the featured weddings includes the short story of how and why each couple decided to include their dog in their celebration.  Plus, the photographs capture the stars of the show — the wedding dogs — brilliantly.

The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a doggie wedding resource section which would have been so helpful for finding related wedding attire and accessories for dogs.

This is definitely one to add to your wedding planning library (and also makes a great welcome gift for your new dog-loving clients!).

HAPPY PLANNING!
