biscottiBiscotti (pronounced bee-SKAWT-tee) are oblong-shaped, Italian almond cookies.

Because biscotti have such a long shelf life – they're baked twice and have a crunchy almost toasty finish – they make for popular wedding favors.

Biscotti are often flavored with anise or nuts and are perfect for dunking.
