The back story
Weddings For a Living began as a simple bi-weekly email newsletter I created for new wedding planners who wanted honest, practical advice about building a real business in the industry.
Over time, that newsletter grew into this website — a home for archived editions, articles and eventually, a much bigger idea.
In 2008, I launched Confetti: The Wedding Planning Business Talk Show, one of the first online talk shows created specifically for wedding professionals. Each episode was broadcast live and featured real conversations about pricing, growth, confidence and sustainability.
As the community grew, Confetti became part of Weddings for a Living, and the platform evolved into a full podcast and resource library for wedding planners around the world.
More than 100 episodes later, the mic finally turned off. But not because the conversations stopped mattering.
Today, Weddings for a Living is an archive of those years of learning, sharing, and building together. A resource I'm still proud of and grateful to have created.
