Pronounced: kroh-kuhm-BOOSH

A croquembouche is a magnificent french dessert made of cream puffs or profiteroles arranged in a cone and held together with caramel sauce.

The croquembouche evolved during the time of King Charles II and was quite the status symbol since sugar, at the time, was a rare commodity.
