From entrepreneurial guidance to basic wedding planner know-how&#8230;it&#8217;s all here!<\/p>\n<h2 data-css=\"tve-u-161a0223057\">You&#8217;re in the right place<\/h2>\n<p data-css=\"tve-u-1619ff6c827\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-css=\"tve-u-1619ff66a82\" style=\"font-family: Lato; font-weight: 300;\"><span data-css=\"tve-u-161a00251fe\" style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 23px;\">&#8220;If you&#8217;re brand spanking new to the wedding planning industry and desperately trying to figure out how, exactly, you can make money planning weddings, then you&#8217;re in the right place. &nbsp;<strong>YOU&nbsp;<\/strong>are the person I had in mind when I created Weddings for a Living.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-css=\"tve-u-1619ff8318a\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-css=\"tve-u-1619ff831b4\" style=\"font-family: Lato; font-weight: 400;\"><em class=\"\">&#8211; Debbie Quain, founder<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-css=\"tve-u-161a02306f0\" style=\"text-align: left;\">the back story<\/h2>\n<p>Weddings For a Living began as a bi-weekly email newsletter for new wedding planners created by Debbie Quain, the owner of a professional wedding planning business. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each edition of the email newsletter provided helpful, free advice about how to make a living planning weddings. &nbsp;The website, WeddingsForaLiving.com became the online home for the newsletter archives.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning in 2008, Debbie launched Confetti, The Wedding Planning Business Talk Show, the very first online talk show for wedding planners, and began broadcasting each episode as a live show to an online audience. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Although &nbsp;Confetti was originally launched on a separate website, Debbie eventually moved the Confetti Talk Show episodes (and re-branded the show simply as &#8216;Weddings For a Living&#8217;) to this website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Episode 400 was the final Weddings For a Living talk show episode to be recorded. &nbsp;\ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Today, Weddings for a Living is a treasure trove of the information-packed online talk show (podcast) episodes and several of the wedding planner articles from Debbie&#8217;s original wedding planner email newsletter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 data-css=\"tve-u-161a02329fe\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n<div class=\"sc-accordion\"><a class=\"trigger\" href=\"#\">How can I listen to\/download an episode?<\/a>\r\n\t   \t\t   <div class=\"content\">Archived show episodes are available on the WeddingsForaLiving.com website.<\/p>\n<p>Each individual episode page includes show notes (i.e. details and links mentioned in an episode) and episode playback options; you can either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Play the episode directly from the episode page,<\/li>\n<li>Play the episode in a separate window (the best option if you want to view other pages while you listen), OR<\/li>\n<li>Download the episode mp3 file to your device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Archived episodes of the WeddingsForaLiving.com show are also available on <a href=\"https:\/\/weddingsforaliving.com\/itunes\">iTunes<\/a>.<\/div><a class=\"trigger\" href=\"#\">When is the next episode or live show?<\/a>\r\n\t   \t\t   <div class=\"content\"><a href=\"https:\/\/weddingsforaliving.com\/4-wedding-planner-niches-wfal400\">Episode 400<\/a> was the last WeddingsForaLiving.com episode to be recorded. Currently, there are no immediate plans to record additional episodes (sorry).<\/div><a class=\"trigger\" href=\"#\">Some of the episodes are identified as '<em>Confetti'<\/em> episodes. What is '<em>Confetti<\/em>'?<\/a>\r\n\t   \t\t   <div class=\"content\">Confetti was the name of the flagship LIVE! wedding planning business talk show . Each episode was broadcast live with listeners and viewers (primarily new wedding planners) who actively participated in a live online chat room. This live show format transitioned into an offline format (just me, Debbie, and a microphone).
