Debbie is a Sagittarius and the heart and brains behind Weddings For A Living (formerly ‘Wedding and Event Marketing’).

After landing a job in the executive offices of Manhattan’s famous Tavern on the Green restaurant, Debbie witnessed firsthand the  excitement and satisfaction of ‘working an event’ and inevitably caught the party planning ‘bug’.

Combining her hands-on planning skills and passion for weddings, in 2002 she launched ‘Down the Aisle’, her very own wedding planning company. Her goal? To do away with the standard approach to weddings and instead, create an experience that makes the planning process enjoyable for her clients.

In addition to planning special occasions, Debbie has also served as a local instructor for the California-based Wedding Planning Institute, educating and certifying aspiring wedding planners.  Based on student feedback, she created Weddings For A Living to provide ongoing support and creative marketing tips and ideas for wedding planners who want to catapult their business to success after certification.

Debbie is host of CONFETTI, the live wedding planning business talk show, hosted every other Tuesday on BlogTalkRadio.

She is also the creator of the Wedding Business Guide, a members-only online guide to starting and operating an independent wedding planning business.
