LIVE! #339 – Should you Plan Weddings for Free?

*Note – I experienced a senior moment and spent the first five (5) minutes of the live show speaking to myself (nothing new, here) before realizing that the audio wasn’t broadcasting.   Plus…there were issues with accessing the live chat room.  What a day, huh?!   A thousand apologies.

Thankfully, we got it all figured out before getting to the ‘meat and potatoes’ of the show. 🙂

During the recording of this live episode of Confetti, we discussed two (2) listener questions.

What should wedding planners wear to their client’s wedding?

Based in Europe, Jemima has been hired as wedding planner and Mistress of Ceremonies for her client’s wedding  and wants to know what she should wear on her client’s wedding day.

Should new wedding planners charge less or plan for free?

Paoloa also wanted to know , as a new wedding planner, if she really should reduce her planning fees or (gasp!) plan weddings without being paid at all until she becomes more experienced.

I’m curious to know what your thoughts and experiences have been with reducing your wedding planner fees?  Please post your comments, below.
